WEST MICHIGAN MUSTANG CLUB BOARD OF OFFICERS MEETING 5.14.18
The Meeting was held at Aberdeen Reformed Church and was called to order by 7:00 pm by Vice President, Scott Broekema. President Chris Stawasz must work and will try to arrive during the Meeting to discuss the show business.
Present were: Joe DiLorenzo, Carol & Neil Keegstra, Steve Morgan, Gene Gibson, Phil Gibson, Pete VanderVeen, Vicki & Ron Wilton, Cindy & Dave Dunn, Cindy and Rick Bishop, Heidi & Dave Mull, Julie & Tom Miller, Suellen Engel, Frank Carter, Ginny & Gary Marble, Gail & Scott Broekema, Darrel Meyering, Lori Stolte and Lynn Trestrail.
Scott thanked Carol Keegstra for bringing a lemon cake for dessert. Scott and Gail made coffee.
The Club will meet at Vitale's in Comstock Park prior to the next meeting.
Secretary Report: Lori Stolte and Sue Engel took the minutes in April and the Secretary report was read by Lynn Trestrail. A motion was made, 2nd and approved to accept the minutes.
Treasury Report: Lori Stolte distributed the Treasury report and it was reviewed in detail. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the report.
MCA Report: Tom Miller distributed the MCA report and it is enclosed below.

With the new show season under way a lot has been said about the judges. We must remember these people are mostly volunteers. They and us (car owners) make mistakes. Please let’s treat each other with common courtesy and respect.
If anyone is interested in attending an MCA show, please contact us and we will do our best to help you through the process in getting started on a fun time making new mustang friends and family
The next show is Georgia On My Mind in Grovetown GA. We have 3 cars from WMMC going. Good luck to all.
Show Schedule:
Friday May 25th - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Registration check-in and Parking. Some judging may be done after coordination with owners.
Saturday May 26th - 8:00 am to 10:00 am Registration check-in and Parking. All Judged entries must be in place by close of Registration at 10:00 am. Judging 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Sunday May 27th - Show hours 8:00 am to Conclusion of Awards presentations. Limited judging as necessary. 2:00 pm Awards and 50/50 raffle.

Activities: Heidi reports that there were 23 cars who left together for the Dairy Tour. 26 cars were there for the restaurant stop. 25 cars went on to the dairy and there were 38 people on the dairy tour.
Kevin Heinig has been contacted about the availability of his church for our fall activities.
Adeline Leigh has been contacted to cater our Christmas celebration.
There are 12 rooms left for our fall cruise. There is a $10 cancellation fee. Please contact Dave and Heidi Mull if interested in going.
Merchandise: Joe DiLorenzo reports there will be a slight increase in our clothing prices. He has ordered shirts to restock our supply for the show.

There is a car gathering at the Airport Viewing area on Thursday. Chris talked to a person “Con” who runs a detailing shop and would like to set up a tour for the Club.
Kevin G, show chairman, was not present so Chris discussed the Show details.
We need help with parking and the door prize table. Please contact Traci Stawasz (coordinator) or a Club officer to volunteer.
June 13 is an outing to Lakeview Terrace Assisted Living Facility. They are hosting an event from 5-7 pm. Cars, hot dogs and root beer floats! The address is 9494 Paden Road, Lakeview 48850. Chris’ sister works there and invited the Club.
July 14 is the Spectrum Health Continuing Care Show, 750 Fuller NE, Free Registration and Free Lunch.
Wed Aug 15 is our Show and Shine at Barber Ford.
Mustang Alley is held in conjunction with the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Phil Gibson and Chris have begun to use a new email service. Mailchimp. So far it is working.
Membership: Sue Engel reports we have 199 paid memberships as of the date of the meeting.
Other Show Information:
We will have a color guard for the playing of the National Anthem. Sue Engel arranged for the troop from All Saints Academy Scouts to be there.
Costco is again donating water, so we will be adding that to goodie bags.
Parking maps will be done for those parking cars
O’Reilly’s wants to sponsor the Young Enthusiast (24 years and under), Kids Choice and Ladies Choice Awards. They will also provide those awards.
Bethesda Farms will be there for coffee and donuts.
Brenspeed will be at the show.
The Ford Truck will be at the show.
We will have two food trucks: Arturo’s Tacos and Pizza Parliament. Club members will receive a voucher to get $7.00 toward a meal. Arturo’s has an $8 combo meal that they will sell to volunteers for $7.00. These are for volunteers that work a full shift (4 hours). Vouchers will also be accepted at the Pizza Parliament Truck. Beverages are extra.
There will be construction updates as the show date approaches.
Cropmarks is donating the Sponsor Board ($150 value)
Clarence Worst donated $200 in honor of his Fallen Vietnam Brothers.
Berlin raceway has donated 200 tickets valued up to $12.00 on gate price to be used before August 20.
