We custom make padded leather and or alcantara console armrest covers for the new stangs. we have all 3 oem leather grains, the heavy pebble, the med. pebble and the smooth grain along with black and charcoal alcantara. we can also mix he leather grains for a real custom effect. prices vary depending on the options picked but range from $85 on up. they are made with a 1/4" commercial padding that we use in all the covers so it doesnt effect the height too much but adds a nice look and great feel to that plastic lid. we also make e brake boots (with or without a top stiched seam) and shift boots. many stitching color options, though most go with white stitching or black. the covers install fairly easy for the DIY person, or for a small fee you can ship us your lid and we will install it ready to bolt back on the car. check out the website for pics, prices and install instructions. www.amustangrocksleather.com/Home_Page.htmlheres a couple examples of the covers: smooth grain/alcantara..........heavy pebble/smooth center......med. pebble

thanks. ya we wanted it to look like it belongs in the car. the armrest covers that youve seen in the 05-09`s are the upgraded interior lids most often found in the gt500`s. (i think thats standard) ours has almost the same look, (other than the small bead across the frt) with the top stitched seams and the panels except for a couple nice things. even though the upgrade lids are labeled leather interior parts, they are in fact really thin vinyl (and not padded), along with the dash boards, half of the frt buckets seats, the headrests and the entire rear seats. note: We do have the oem factory vinyl in all 4 colors for the 05-09`s and offer the covers made in that for less money. it is a nice material and you cant tell its vinyl by look or almost feel. we dont offer the shift boots or ebrake covers in vinyl. our covers are genuine auto seat grade cover leather (either oem or aftermarket) over 1/4" commercial padding which is a little thing that makes a huge difference. it has a really nice feel under the elbow, matches the oem seats and doesnt change the appearance of the factory lid (like some others out there that offer thicker padding). we started out with 1 smooth aftermarket leather and they were nice. then we got to 3 aftermarket leathers. we had a smooth grain, a pebble grain and a soft glove leather. we have dropped the smooth aftermarket and replaced it with the 2010+oem smooth grain, we still offer the #2 pebble grain which looks almost exactly like the plastic grain on the factory lids and it has a nice soft feel,(softer than the oem pebble), and we still have some of the soft glove, which some people have really liked it as it makes a really nice shift boot but it is a shade darker black than the charcoal in the cars and does not have a consistent grain. we are gonna phase it out. now we have added the 05-09 oem charcoal, parchment and crimson red leather, and the oem charcoal, parchment, crimson red and dove gray in vinyl. we also have the 10-14 oem smooth grain, med pebble and heavy pebble leather along with charcoal (solid and perforated) and black alcantara from italy. we cant get the oem materials from the 94-2004 cars as its been dis continued. we have been at this for a few years and have hundreds of these covers out there all over the U.S. including P.R., Canada, Germany, Spain, Austria, France, around the U.K. and even Qatar. we designed it to fit over the lid with a snug fit and theres no gluing or strings involved. it will also fit over the gt500 lids and can be removed at any time just as easy. once you have one of these covers in your car, you will never "not want" to have one again. if i had to give up my cover, i wouldnt even want the car any more
