BOARD MEETING
MARCH 10,2014
• Present: Rick Bishop, Carol and Neil Keegstra, Chris Stawasz,

• Secretary’s Report: The minutes were read and a motion
• was made and 2nd to approve the report.
• Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer’s report was

Old Business:
Clothing:
Dave and Cindy Dunn have ordered 5 worker t-shirts and 24
50th Anniversary t-shirts. They are going to stock up with
Pink shirts for the women. They will order 2 doz. Pink hats.
The stone colored hats are still available to order. The cost
This year may be $17. These hats have a thicker sweat ban
And are of better quality. We will also have about 10 dark
Hats available.
The club has 10 flags available out of 50 that were originally
Ordered. We have ordered another 50(Minimum order)
For our car show in June. They should be here in a week.
New Business:
Our club’s “Sound System” will now be labeled with the name
Plates to identify the equipment that belongs to the WMMC.
Membership:
As of today we have 194 members. 44 People have not responded
As of the deadline, which was January 1, 2014 for payment of the
Annual dues. We have 50 more members then we did in 2013
At this time.
On April 26th the Jack Redeker Party will be held. You must sign
Up with Carol Keegstra by April 12th. Bring a dish to pass and
Bring your own drink.
On May 10th the Gilmore Dust-Off at the Gilmore Museum will
Be from 9-4pm. We will meet in Caledonia at the Family Fare
Mall at 8:00am and leave at 8:15am for Gilmore Museum.
For the Chili Cook-off on Saturday, March 15th, we will have
Labels for the Chili stating whether it is not hot, mild or very
Hot(you can only smell the nice aroma)! We could use some
Help in setting up at 4:00pm at Rememberance Church.
Parking will be in the lower level.
The graduation party for Carol Keegstra and Neil’s granddaughter
Will be at the Assembly of God Church on 44th st. Park up front
Near 44th st. More discussion later on the time.
Cisler’s picnic on July 26th will be in the same park on Lincoln Lake.
Directions will be posted on the web site. Bring a dish to pass.
Bill and Dianne Cisler will buy the meat.
There are 8 rooms left for the ColorTour to Sugar Beach Resort in
September, 2014. One of the dinner’s is planned for Boon’s Restaurant.

The trip to North Carolina for the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang
In April the 15th thru the 21st is well on its way!
There will be a shuttle for everyone to use, if your parking in
Exit 49 area.
The Show and Shine events at various Ford Dealerships are still
Being discussed. Bill Binning, Rick Bishop and Kevin Heinig
Will work together on planning these events. More information

Ron Wilton will check with Grand Haven on the Coast Guard
Festival in August.
Car Show:
Moving right along on our up and coming Car Show June,
14th at Betten Ford.
Some suggestions were made about new procedures for
Our show.
1. Lori Stolte suggested making signs to address the areas
where people can get raffle tickets and door prizes.
2. Pass out the Medallion when people register their cars.
3. A 50th Anniversary cake for our car show in June.
Perhaps Meijer could provide a cake for 80-90 people, the
Cost would be $47. Another suggestion was for Betten
Ford to provide 6-8 sheet cakes for about 300 people.
More discussion later.
The raffle tickets for this year will be 12 for $10 and
6 for $5 and 1 for $1.
There will be no umbrellas, no tents or canopy’s at the
Car show. See the flyer for more details.
For the “goody bags” this year we have 11 vendors and
About 14 boxes of goodies.
Bill Binning stated that the 50th Anniversary book is
Available on the Virginia Classic.com for $34.
Dash Plaques:
The initial concept is oval, with the WMMC and red, white
And blue stripe. We will have a running horse and the
Design of 1964-2014 on one side. This way we will not
Be infringing on the Ford Patent.
Medallion:
The back will have 33rd annual car show June 14, 2014.
The front will have WMMC 50th year, 2014
Gene Gibson will order the Medallion and Phil will bring a sample
Of the dash plaque to our board meeting on April 7th.

April 5th, Grand Valley State University car show
(If the weather is bad, it will be April 12th).
April 7th Board meeting at Betten Ford.
April 26th Jack Redeker’s house party.
May 10th Gilmore Museum dust-off car show 9-4pm.
May 27th graduation event for Carol and Neil Keegstra’s
Granddaughter at the Assembly of God Church.
