We bought our Mustang GT used from Fox Ford in GR very late fall of 2008. When we got it they told us we could bring it back in spring and get a free oil change all though it had been done already in Fall of 08. OK, so in spring of last year "09" I took it back and had "free" oil change done and all last summer we only drove it 3000 miles. Well today I figured I would change it myself and low and behold, no Motorcraft filter. Instead it was some cheap, no name filter I never heard of. Moral of the story I guess is Fox Ford dosn;t use Motorcraft filters. It just seemed to me it would have a Ford filter. I;m not trying to beat up Fox ford, I;m just saying it is that time of year were many of us will be getting ready for summer and if you go there, you may want to ask what your getting.

Just a little update on filter if it matters. I was in a Meijer today and walked through the Auto Dept and noticed the Valvoline Oil filters have the number equal to the one I removed. So I came home and looked closer and in very small print is Valvoline name on it.
