Also check out Mustang Monthly magazine; you can purchase a copy at Barnes and Noble or Family Fare. This magazine has catered to early Mustangs since 1980.

If you lived closer, I've been playing with 67-68 Mustangs for 25 years. I'm currently slowly restoring a Michigan 67 convertible. If you need some help I'm up here in Hastings, ktrahan2@att.net. Yours doesn't look bad at all.

M-43 between Hastings and Kalamazoo in Barry county has a lot of tight winding country roads. M-179 going west of Hastings will give a great fall drive through Yankee Springs, You could even stop at Bowens Mill, an apple orchard and museum.

This is a current shot showing the removal of the rear floor over the rear end and rear shock mount. Most of the upper convertible top structure had to be removed in order to get to the frame. Not easy but can be done effectively. I also replaced both rear sub-frame ends. The new piece is on the trunk lid. As you see, this is a Michigan car; Detroit born and Detroit lived.

This is how my drivers side inner frame rail turned out. Currently I'm replacing the rear floor over the rear end and rear sub-frames. How did your project turn out? Did you take any pictures? I learned quickly to use a air hammer with a wide flat tip and a good pry bar. Spot weld cutters weren't as effective (seeing there is about 200 spot welds). Attachments:

Here is an updated picture as I get down to replace the inner rocker and torque box. Even though I have done some of this work years ago, there are better tools out know for the hobiest to make faster work of a project this deep. It also helps that I work as a maintenance technician and we've expirimented for about 15 years. It makes it more enjoyable being able to get the job done faster. Attachments:
