Hey everyone, Curious if anyone has had experience installing a headliner in a 1st gen. I still have my windshield in, rear glass is out. I'm afraid of removing the front and ruining the paint or breaking the glass or not getting enough of the old sealant out and leaving a leak once I put the new glass in. But you also read everywhere that taking the glass out is the best way to go. Any help is greatly appreciated. Or am I better off just having someone else do it and take the hit to the wallet?

Hey all, Curious if anyone has ever transported a car with one of the commercial carriers and has any recommendations. I'm going to start shopping around to have mine shipped back from CO, want to make sure it gets back safely and as quick as possible. Thanks!

So here it is. 17" rims are off of a stock 2010 Mustang. 4 pin hood being replaced by standard hinges, definitely keeping the half top (my fiance calls it a toupee). Gonna put some Flowmaster 50s on it with H-pipe, Borgeson power steering installed. Metallic cobalt blue paint with black Mach 1 hood stripes and scoop, and Mach 1 honeycomb tail panel. Hopefully can post some resto photos when I find them. My enthusiasm continues to grow until it finally gets here.

Hey everyone, New to the club, new to the Mustang game. I've got a 1970 Grande with a half-vinyl top, stock 351 Windsor with an AOD. It's still out in Colorado getting the engine dropped and dialed in then painted, as soon as it gets here I'd love to have some tricks and tips with interior installations.
I bought it out west then moved back to Michigan but I couldn't get it done in time. Did a lot of the grunt work myself which was ROUGH.
If I can figure out how, I'll attach a photo taken shortly after I bought it. "In progress" restoration photos are on another computer so I might post a few in time to show progress. If the stars line up right, I'll have it back and put together by the annual show on June 27. Looking forward to a great season!
