WEST MICHIGAN MUSTANG CLUB BOARD MEETING JUNE 13, 2016
ABERDEEN REFORMED CHURCH
CALL TO ORDER: AT 705 PM BY PRESIDENT RICK BISHOP
PRESENT: Rick & Cindy Bishop, Scott & Gail Broekema, Phil Gibson, Gene Gibson, Joe DiLorenzo, Steve Morgan, Ron & Vicki Wilton, Tom & Julie Miller, Lori Stolte, Richard & Sue Engel, Chris & Traci Stawasz, Kurt & Cindy Kline, Rich May, Gary & Ginny Marble, Dave & Cindy Dunn, Dave & Heidi Mull, Carol & Neil Keegstra, Ronda Houseman and Lynn Trestrail.
SECRETARY REPORT: The secretary report was read and the addendum is that the registration desk at the WMMC show will not be at the Welcome Bar at the church but in a table in the reception area. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the minutes.
TREASURY REPORT: Lori Stolte distributed the Treasury report. It was reviewed and a motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the treasurer’s report.
There is a Club picnic at Houseman’s on July 16 from 4-8 pm. To RSVP and get more details, contact Ronda or Bryan or see them at the Show. Phone number is 616 681 2716 or rondahouseman@hotmail.com.
There is a potential show on Whitneyville Road on August 13 with a cruise to Caledonia. More details to come.
Cisler’s will host a picnic on Sept 10, starting at 12 pm and eating at 1 pm. This will be at Lincoln Lake. More details to come.
There are two more Mustang Nights at Cheers. One is July 26 and one is August 16.
15 members are going to the MCA show at Niagara Falls. Tom Miller will have a list and contact information available at the WMMC show on June 18.
More worker shirts were ordered for the show. Shirts will be signed out and must be returned on Saturday at the end of the show. Volunteers are asked to be sure to bring an extra shirt so the show shirts can be turned in. Lynn volunteered to wash the shirts.
“Robert” a photographer with ties to Frontline Church will be taking pictures of our cars as we drive in. He will have the ability to print the picture on a T-shirt. It is a wicking shirt and is a nice shirt. The chart should be about $20 with an additional 1.50 handling charge.
Jimmy Johns has been contacted to bring 2 sandwich trays for the volunteers at the end of the show while we clean up. Shirts must be turned in. Subs will arrive about 315 pm.
Ronda and Lynn will take will take extra toilet paper on the day of the show to be sure the port-a-potties do not run out.
Steve and Jim will have PA systems at either end of the front side of the church. Steve will bring his long extension cord. Steve will start the show with the National Anthem and a moment of silence in memory/ honor of all the recent deaths. Jim’s system will be moved for the award announcements. Lynn will announce awards and will have the binder ready to accommodate the sponsors and awards.
John Klor said he would be glad to make a presentation at the Ford Dealership who does the most for the Club. That will likely be Borgman. Borgman has had a car up at the dealership the last couple weekend.
The next meeting will be June 20 and will be the show wrap up meeting.
The first meeting of the 2016-2017 year will be August 8. Lynn stated she will not be able to be at that meeting and asked for a volunteer to take the minutes. Lori Stolte and Vicki Wilton both agreed to take the minutes.
The meeting was adjourned at 830 pm by President, Rick Bishop.
