Update on the Tapper Ford event: they are changing it to a cruise instead of a car show:
A Message from Andrew Isbell: I am pleased to announce that we have received permission to hold a Mustang Cruise in place of our Annual Mustang Show here at Tapper Ford. Due to the Stay at Home order being extended to June 12th, and for the safety of our attendees, we have changed the format for this year's show.
We will all meet at the dealership and line up our cars to head out on a cruise. We ask that people respect the social distancing requirements and stay in your vehicles. We will line up starting at 8:30 am and plan on leaving the dealership a little after 9am. The route may change, though we are planning on heading towards St. Joseph over towards Lake Michigan, then heading up towards South Haven on Blue Star Highway. Once in South Haven, we will head out on Phoenix St. towards Gingerman Raceway. They will be hosting Grid Life, a drifting competition that day, though no spectators are allowed due to the governor's orders. They have asked us to drive through the lot showing off our Mustangs for the teams to admire.
We will head back towards the dealership from there. It is looking to be around 100 miles all together. We understand some may not want to put that many miles on their cars, and we respect that. Also, if anyone would like to hop off the cruise at any point to enjoy the local scene, they are more than welcome. We are just hoping to give you all something to do as a group during these times.
We will have dash plaques commemorating the event, however we will not be able to offer judging or lunches due to the format. There are quite a few breweries, restaurants, and of course the Red's Rootbeer Stand across the street from the dealership where food and drink can be had as Take out.
We are so excited that we are able to do this, even though it will not be what we wanted to do during these times. We pray everyone has stayed safe, and wish you all safe travels here. We are hoping for a great turnout, with a fun time of getting out of the house for all.
See you soon,
Andrew Isbell
THIS IS ON SAT. JUNE 6TH, SAME DAY WE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED
