MCA Report: February 10, 2020 MCA Report by Tom Miller
Greetings everyone, well Mother Nature has slapped us back into winter, but it is still time to start thinking about car show season.
Not much going on with the MCA this month. I can say, if you plan on going to an MCA show you must register through moto show website. This is not as bad as it sounds, you will get a list of the shows and the activities for each show. This is all done with drop down windows. You pick the class you think you should be in. (this will be checked at show registration tent). You will have to pick trailered or not. This is important if you are in concours. You will be able to pick if you want Friday judging. This is not for new attendees to MCA shows because you will have a short time to get ready for the judges to start judging. This is about it. Not too bad. By registering through moto show the MCA can track where people come from at what time of the year and how far they will drive. This helps with future planning of shows.

It was noted that the Mach E will be allowed at the MCA show but they will be in their own category. The WMMC will have further discussion about allowing the Mach E at our show.
The Red Mustang Registry is now known as the Red Pony Mustang Registry.
A copy of the show registration form was presented for review. It includes the names of the charities we are supporting. A few suggestions for changes were made and then it should be final.
Letters to the vendors were folded and prepared for mailing.
Dave Dunn will make a list of our DJ equipment and price it. It will then be offered to Gary’s DJ and put on for sale websites.
Phil from Black Diamond Detailing would like to host an outing for our club and demonstrate detailing.
He is a new vendor and would like to demonstrate his ‘Bomber’ seats.
Lori Stolte noted that our insurance lists Rick May, Rick Bishop and Chris Stawasz as drivers for the Club Equipment Trailer. She questioned if we want to keep them as the drivers. This will be discussed in the future.
Lynn noted that she will be absent for the next meeting on March 2. She requested that someone volunteer to take notes.
The meeting was adjourned after folding and stuffing envelopes. It was commented that in the future folding and stuffing should be done at the beginning of the meeting or during the meeting.
The next meeting will be on March 2 due to the primary election on March 9.
Respectfully submitted,
Lynn Trestrail
