Discount Tire HAD been pretty solid for years on the plainfield location and the 44th location after I moved to the southside of town, but now I'm dealing with "swelling lug nuts" that they told me are "just something that happens on Fords" and have had several new scratches in the wheel paint. While the lug nuts are cheap junk, they can still be made to stay nice if they would not use impact wrenches with the wrong size socket on them.
So, I'm going to be replacing my lug nuts but I want to have a shop that will take care of them and not scratch my wheels even more in the process.
Anyone have any recommendations for shops in the area? I'd prefer if it were more on the south side of town, but anywhere in the GR area is fine by me if they do good work. Thanks!
