WEST MICHIGAN MUSTANG CLUB VIRTUAL MEETING MAY 10, 2021
Present were: Kevin Guzniczek, Carol Keegstra, Gene Gibson, Phil Gibson, Jeremy Hoard, Joe DiLorenzo, Lori Stolte, Maggie Turner, Rick Bishop, Dave and Heidi Mull and Lynn Trestrail.
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm.
Lynn was absent for the beginning of the meeting so the minutes and reports were done by Lori Stolte. (thank you!)
Secretary report: The secretary report was read. There was one addition. No other additions nor corrections. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the minutes.
Treasury report: The treasury report was emailed prior to the meeting. The report was reviewed. There were no corrections nor additions. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the report. Insurance: Quote was more than what we are current paying
Membership: In Suellen’s absence Lori reported that we have 169 paid members including 8 new members.
Activity report: Heidi reported that the Mustang Day Cruise to Turkeyville was May 1 and had 21 cars. Four cars went for ice cream. No one got lost and everyone had a good time.
Tapper Ford in Paw Pay is having a cruise to Gilmore Car Museum on June 5. Meeting at Tapper at 8:30 am. Leave Tapper at 10:00 am. Contact Tapper Ford for details.
WMMC Show and Shine show June 12.
Ronda’s party is June 19th from 4-8 pm. Please RSVP to either Heidi Mull spiceman@altelco.net. More details to come but save the date!
Heidi will be retiring as Activities Director after September.
Merchandise: Joe would like to purchase 6 hats in each color for $270 – this has been approved. Joe reached out to Shirley @rose’s regarding the screen print for our shirts. The gentleman at Impact has passed. His sister is looking thru his inventory to try to find the screen for our shirts. If she can find it, then Rose’s should be able to print it. Joe is going to check with Rose’s to see how much they would charge to create a new screen. May need another vendor to do shirts. More to come.
MCA Report: Tom and Julie were not present. Refer to April report for details of MCA happenings. A copy of the MCA report was emailed after the meeting. It follows:

Mustang Club of America Report For the West Michigan Mustang Club
Greetings everyone,
We completed, submitted paperwork and been accepted our regional club status for the MCA for the year 2021.
Kristi Brown, the MCA’s Office Manager has turned in her resignation, she said that she no longer has the enthusiasm to continue, and July 4th will be her last day. Here’s wishing her all the best for her future.

Old Business: Kevin has handouts for the dealerships. He will get these out to people to help distribute. If anyone would like to have some handouts to pass out, please contact Kevin Guzniczak.
Kevin has confirmed Food trucks for the show. Patty Matters has a lunch truck and were asked to come about 10 am. River City Coffee and Cake have breakfast fare and would come 8-10 or 9-10.
Port-a-potties: Confirmed 4 port-a-potties and 2 wash stations would be a good combination for our Show and Shine. We will NOT have access to indoor facilities at the church.
Kevin has confirmed for the show – a full display. They are also donating two kidney films plus $100. Ford Truck is confirmed as of March.
Kevin would like to get a car from Fox Ford to be on display. He is also trying to reach the LED lens vendor and Michelle from Croftgate Mad Turtle.
We are asking members to donate raffle items. Lynn is willing to keep track of donations but cannot store them. Donors will need to bring their donations the day of the show and shine. Donors can contact Lynn at loplummer@comcast.net or 616 243 0840 or 616 540 1940.
We have three canopies so far for the raffle, clothing and information table. They will need to be well anchored in the event of wind.
Steve Morgan will be the DJ for the show using his own equipment.
Gene Gibson to work with Kevin G on show parking. Gene will send layout to Kevin.
Show hours are 9 am to 2 pm
Raffle will start at 12:30. Sell 50/50 tickets until noon. Start raffle call at 12:30 and do 50/50 last
Gates open at 8 am. Need volunteers at 7 am to help set up. Have volunteers work in 2 to 3 hours shifts.
A motion was made, 2nd and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 pm.
