Our club has been invited to meet up with the Kalamazoo Camaro Club on July 9 for food, fun and socializing. Plans are set and the flyer and registration information are attached! Registration for the event will go to help spread the cost of food and trophies between the two clubs. We will also meet up and travel down as a group at a place to be determined.

The Kalamazoo Camaros are looking forward to hosting this event. Hopefully everyone has fun with this idea and we can turn it into a yearly event for the two clubs to come together and have some fun.

From Doug Klann, President Kalamazoo Camaros:
As you know the Kalamazoo Camaros like to donate to charities and we have made a selection for this year. The proceeds from the Inaugural Camaro Mustang event on July 9th will be donated to Talons Out. Talons Out provides free flights to Washington DC for our war Veterans to visit the various memorials honoring their service. It is a great charity that gives our Vets an opportunity to complete one last mission. Talons Out also allows one Guardian to accompany each of our Vets on these flights at a cost of $500. With preference given to our aging WWII vets the need for these Guardians is increasingly important. Many of our WWII Vets could not make this journey without assistance. We will be raising money to help get a Veteran and their Guardian to Washington DC for their final mission. Now for the part that seems like this was destine to happen. Dan Kalleward and I did not know it at the time we set up the Camaro/Mustang event or when we selected Talons Out to be the charity to donate to but Talons Out is having a car show the day AFTER our event. We would like nothing more than to raise a bunch of money and be able to give it to them at their event.
