The windshield on my '65 has leaked at each side for years resulting in slight rust in floor pans. The seals are hardened and the trim is loose. The windshield is in perfect condition. I am looking for a glass man who is experienced with '65 Mustangs and will know the quirks of Mustang windshields and the types of clips required. If anyone knows of such a person, please let me know.
Same goes for the convertible top. I have considered doing it myself, but such projects often take three times longer than I predict and leave a wrinkle I cannot smooth. Any names will be appreciated.
I also want to clean up the undercarriage, but I do not have the equipment to remove the rear axle and all, or the patience to sand it down. I want to keep the original look (Dearborn, July 1965) with the paint drops and paint that matches the car. Do any members do this work on the side?
Contact me at 616-915-4567
Thanks.
