Mustang Club of America Report
For the West Michigan Mustang Club
Greetings from the Mustang, Oklahoma. Once again writing this on our way home from The Great Mustang Round Up, the last official show of the 2021 season.
There were 292 cars that were judged with a total of approximate 325 cars at the show. There were cars from 35 states, which is very impressive.
The Oklahoma Mustang Club and the City of Mustang opened its arms to put on a wonderful show. We were at the Town Center building that has a community pool, Gym, library and park. They closed all of this down for the weekend for the MCA show! Those that were involved were the police, fire, Recreation Dept., Public Works Dept., and even the Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma was on hand.
Jack Roush arrived on Saturday for the show, signing autographs & posing for pictures. Jack Roush was the guest speaker at the Saturday night banquet. After he spoke, he allowed autographs & pictures for all that attended the banquet.
This show was in honor of the show chair Christine Scannelli’s father, who had passed away. They had spent 2 years planning this show. To put on this kind of show they had 12 committees, and close to 100 volunteers which includes 2 other car clubs helping. They did an extremely good job in handling any problems that arose during the show.
Friday’s judging was very hot but they managed to judge 60% of the total of the judged cars. More people are arriving earlier and want to be judged on Friday instead of Saturday.
West Michigan Mustang Club had 2 cars that went.
Tom & Julie Miller – Concept – Gold
Jeff & Lori Stolte – Occasional Driven – Gold
After a lot of hard work, persistence, and accumulation of 20 points & 10 gold awards, Tom & Julie Miller earned their second grill medallion! Their medallion is number 3, which means that only 3 cars have earned this special award. They also went into the Concept Class. CONGRATULATIONS TO TOM & JULIE!

We will be having elections of officers at the Christmas meeting. All positions are up for election.
We are also in need of an Activities Director. Many in the Club have helped with activities over the years and we will not leave the new director in a lurch. Please consider volunteering.
If you are interested in President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or Member at Large, please let Lynn know and submit a short bio of your relationship with the Club. We need to have people run for election so that our Club can carry on. The Toledo Club had to close because folks would not step up. We have over 200 families and there is a core of less than 20 folks that participate regularly. If you have questions, please ask one of the officers. Let’s continue to make WMMC one of the greatest Clubs in Michigan! We have a great reputation, let’s keep it!!
Respectfully submitted,
