WEST MICHIGAN MUSTANG CLUB BOARD MEETING 4.10.23 BORGMAN FORD UPSTAIRS MEETING ROOM
Present were: Maggie Turner, Lori Stolte, Rick and Krista Boomers, Ginny and Gary Marble, Jeremy and Erin Hoard, Joe DiLorenzo, Gene Gibson, Rick May, Dan Lemons and Lynn Trestrail.
Marty was absent as he was in Washington DC for a work meeting.
VP Jeremy Hoard called the meeting to order at 630 pm.
Secretary Report: The minutes of the last meeting were read. There was one correction. The fee to rent the Gingerman racetrack was NOT $900 as stated in the minutes; it is $9000. The Club will not be renting the track. There were no other corrections nor additions. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the minutes.
Treasury Report: Lori distributed the Treasury report. Lori was persistent and Finally got the payment from the film company!!! Yay, Lori! We have received more memberships and show registrations. Some of the show expenses are already covered.
Membership Report: Lori reported we have 154 members.
MCA Report: Per Lori, there are no updates from MCA.
Merchandise: Gary brought a sample of a new shirt for our Club shirts. This shirt is available in a cotton/poly blend as well as 100% cotton. The process is different from screen printing and no minimum order is required for size or color. There will be license plate holders, hats, flags and show shirts for sale. A motion was made, 2nd and passed approve Garyโs shirt plan. He will do an inventory to decide what size and how many shirts to order. Erin would like to make some WMMC Christmas Ornaments! She will make some and they will be for sale with the merchandise.
Activities: The next outing is April 22 at 10:00 am. We will be meeting at Garage Kept at 420 36th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548 . There will be some classic cars on display, and they will have coffee and donuts! ๐
May 6 is the Mustang Day Cruise. Final arrangements are being made but it is to be a cruise to Ludington. As more details are released, they will be sent via mass email. Watch your inboxes.
May 18 we are invited to go to Auto Gallery. They are kicking off the summer with a Hot Dogs, Drinks and Cars event.
May 21st is a car show at a 100-year-old funeral home in Charlotte, MI. We are invited to go.
June 10 is our WMMC show at Betten/Baker Ford in Coopersville. We need many volunteers. Please let Jeremy Hoard know if you are going to volunteer.
June 24 is the date of our summer picnic. It will be at Howard Dunton Park in Holland. 290 Howard Ave, Holland, MI 49424 We will need an RSVP to know how much food to order. We will be ordering subs from a local sub restaurant. Members are asked to bring a side dish/salad/dessert/snack to pass, and their own beverages. We have the park from 10 am - 2 pm and plan to eat at 1130 am. (Note: for Jeremy: The picnic is not going to be at your house, but the wood still needs to be cut! ๐)
Show Business:
We need volunteers for the show. Please let Jeremy know if you are volunteering.
We have several places where volunteers are needed. We need to show up at 630 am. We have confirmed two food trucks. We hope to have an ice cream truck. We hope the Ford Truck will come. We currently have 60 pre-regs for the show. If you have NOT registered, please register soon to get the best deal.
