We also sold 3 name tags.

We had 6 awards left over from our June 8th car show that were never picked up. We will
give some of them to the Show and Shine Dealerships for advertising our club.
The Cisler Picnic is still planned for June 29th. You must notify Carol Keegstra
by June 20th if your coming to the picnic, so she can plan the meat. Bring a dish
to pass and your own lawn chair.

Steve Morrison Engines Show and Shine had 15 cars participate. Several people had

The Church food vendor at our car show made about $1200.
This will help in planning their trip overseas.
Quaker State and Lube Restaurant on 28th East is still planning a "Mustang Sunday"
for our club on June 30th and August 4th. Be careful to avoid the 28th st. road work
by using 29th st. when you can.
Please check the Calendar of events in our web site, Westmichiganmustangclub.com,
for all future events.
New Business:
Rick Bishop received a letter from Tom Welsh, Mid Michigan Mustang Club,
complimenting us on having such a nice car show on June 8th
It was suggested that we get a document signed by Steve Morgan listing all of our audio
equipment that Steve takes care of and uses, in case something happens to Steve.
Ed Kohn Ford in Wayland is still having a "Cruise In" to celebrate the Roush
Mustang on July 20th. They will have Hot Dogs and Hamburgers.
Fred's Pizza is planning a get-together on Aug. 7th at 5:30PM. More discussion later.
Rememberance Church Car Show is still planned for August 14th. Burgers and Hot Dogs
will be served.
Auto Zone in Plainwell, Kalamazoo, Holland and Grand Rapids will now give our club
a Commercial Discount for cash only sales. The Fuller store will be offering special perks.
We will not have a Board Meeting in July, but, we will have one in August, 2013.
Cheers on Plainfield is planning on an "Entertainment Nite", sponsored by Betten Ford,
for club members. The dates are July 9th and August 13th. It is from 5-9PM.
They have good food and a good band. Bring your own chairs.
The sound system needs to be improved for our car show next year. We had a
broken wire and some of the participents and spectators were unable to hear
from the speakers. It was suggested by Dave Dunn that we need a Wifi amplifier
and receiver. We will need a speaker in the back by the body shop and in
the front by the road. Another possibility is purchasing new equiptment for next year.
The July 4th parade is scheduled in Kentwood. We will meet at 54th and Eastern
at 8:00AM in the Mall Parking lot by the Dollar Tree.
The fall Color Tour is still September 27th at Sugar Beach Resort Hotel. They have
a hot tub and indoor pool. Dave and Heidi Mull will be going up to
Traverse City on July 4th to plan the route for our trip. The Meeting place to caravan
together to Sugar Beach Resort Hotel will be at Rememberance Church. More
discussion later.
We saw a remote controlled hover craft flying over Tony Betten Ford at our car show
on Saturday, It was octagon shaped with spindles. It approached our car show around 3:00PM.
We were told the cost of this craft was about $20,000. Rick Bishop
told the man manuvering this craft that he should not fly over the car show
in case it crashes into some of the displayed cars. Next year we will require a
certificate of insurance for this and permission from the President of our club.
Dates to keep in mind:
June 19th-Borgman Ford Show and Shine
August 8th- Barber Ford Show and Shine
September 14- Keller Ford Show and Shine
Meeting adjourned at 8:05p.m.
Respectfully submitted
Vicki Wilton, Secretary
