We are very excited to announce that we will be holding our 8th Annual Mustang Show at Tapper Ford on June 5th this year. This will be a cruise again this year, starting to line up at the dealership around 8:30am departing around 10am. There will be some time to chat with each other before the cruise with restrooms available in the dealership.
We will be taking a 40 mile cruise over to the beautiful Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI. They will have a large area on their campus designated for us to park and show our cars. The Gilmore Car Museum is North America’s largest auto museum with over 400 vehicles on display and over 190,000 square feet of exhibit space. www.GilmoreCarMuseum.org
Bring your lawn chairs and a picnic lunch, or if you prefer, you may purchase lunch at their diner. With the Covid numbers currently climbing, we ask that everyone practice social distancing and have a mask with them for entering the museum if you wish. They will be offering discounted adult tickets for our group. Kids under 10 are free along with Active Military (bring ID).
The museum currently has three very unique Mustangs in their collection you will want to see, plus Tapper Ford is arranging to have some others brought in as well for you to enjoy outside with our group.
We know this last year was tough on us all, with many losing friends and family to Covid and other illnesses. Many have had very limited interaction with others throughout the year. We are looking forward to seeing you all again and enjoying the day hanging out, laughing, and talking cars.
There will be dash plagues again, plus some of our artists in attendance. We know that you look forward to our judging and trophies, however, we are asking for your forgiveness as we are holding off one more year when we can hold the show on our lot to judge the vehicles. This way everyone can relax when we get to Gilmore, instead of spending the next hour or so cleaning their cars to be judged.
We are so looking forward to seeing you all again this year, and ask that you let your friends know of our show. Please pre-register, even though there will not be any judging, so we can give the Gilmore Museum a ballpark figure of how many cars to expect.
Can't wait to see you all.
