Kevin is contacting Food trucks for the show. He has had no response from Silver Star. Patty Matters has a lunch truck and were asked to come about 10 am. River City Coffee and Cake have breakfast fare and would come 8-10 or 9-10.
Port-a-potties: After a lot of discussion, the members at the meeting though 4 port-a-potties and 2 wash stations would be a good combination for our Show and Shine. We will NOT have access to indoor facilities at the church.
Kevin is trying to contact vendors to come to our show. Revive wants to come and would like to do a pre-show meet on Friday night.
Kevin would like to get a car from Fox Ford to be on display. He is also trying to reach the LED lens vendor and Michelle from Croftgate Mad Turtle.
We are asking members to donate raffle items. We no longer need the coffee cans for the raffle as we have the folding cardboard boxes. Lynn is willing to keep track of donations but cannot store them. Donors will need to bring their donations the day of the show and shine. Donors can contact Lynn at loplummer@comcast.net or 616 243 0840 or 616 540 1940.
We are going to have a couple canopies to have the raffle under. They will need to be well anchored in the event of wind.
New Business: We are invited to go to the Michigan Speedway for the show/ race in late August. More details as time gets closer.
VanderHyde Ford is planning Tuesday night cruise-ins. More to come.
Birthday drive: there is an 80-year-old who worked at Ford and would like to drive a Classic Mustang on his birthday. It was a message on the forum as reported by Phil.
Gene reports that the new cover has been made for the trailer. It was made by Zormot, Int, Inc in Jenison.
A motion was made, 2nd and approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Lynn Trestrail
