2021 Mustang Stampede to the Woodward Dream Cruise
On August 17th, enthusiasts from around North America
will arrive in Dayton, OH to begin The Mustang Stampede.
We have two hotels for the Stampede to use and they are located very close to each other.
Hampton Inn-https://www.hilton.com/en/book/reservation/rooms/?ctyhocn=DAYVNHX&arrivalDate=2021-08-17&departureDate=2021-08-18&room1NumAdults=1&cid=OM%2CWW%2CHILTONLINK%2Cen%2CDirectLink
Spring Hill Suites-https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1613153897579&key=GRP&app=resvlink
There are numerous restaurants in the area, so everyone
will dinner options.
August 18th, at 9AM, the Stampede heads to the Gale Halderman Museum, which is now run by Gale's daughter Karen Koenig. There is no cost to visit Gale's Museum.
We will need to arrive as a group, so please don't plan to arrive ahead of the group. This would be a great location to take a group photo.
After leaving the Museum we will head north on I-75,
stopping for lunch at a BBQ restaurant along the way.
We should arrive at the Dearborn Courtyard around 5PM.
Here is the link to make your Courtyard reservations.
The room rate is $88.00 a night. (The regular rate is $180.00 during the Woodward Dream Cruise Week.)

We have reserved a private banquet room at the Ford Garage at 7PM. The Ford Garage will have menu options available soon for review, as we may need to change from a buffet to a plated meal. Additional note of interest, we will have a guest speaker at the Ford Garage dinner. Bud Magaldi, designer of the SN-95 will be our guest and give a presentation on Mustang design.
On Thursday and Friday, we have a number of options for
the Cruisers to consider. We have a suggested list and times listed below.
However, these are options for your consideration, but do include areas of Mustang interest. It is not mandatory everyone visits locations, especially if you have other
interests while in the Detroit area.
(The Detroit Tigers are in town through Thursday, Aug. 19.)
More details are available on our registration page,
but here are a few of the highlights.

(For 2021 they will not be able to host their annual
Mustang Memories Car Show on Ford World HQ grounds.)
To learn more about their 2021 Tour, please go to their website www.mocsem.com. There is a $25.00 charge to
register. The event will take you to four different Ford Mustang locations around Detroit, not included in our Thursday or Friday activities.
I do not know these locations, as it is to be surprise to everyone, but knowing the Mocsem Club, it certainly will be a great tour.
Of course, we hope to have Mustang enthusiasts from all over the world, as this is a bucket list trip for many people.
At this time we do not have any restrictions on how registrations we can accept, so we hope to create a memorable Stampede for every one.
