Lynn also let us know that Joe will be unable to attend the show and man the merchandise table. Anyone who would be willing to do this please contact a board member or Jeremy directly.
Activities: May 7 is the day we are celebrating Mustang Day! We are to meet at Borgman Ford at 8:45 am and plan to leave for our cruise at 9:00 am. We will go to Aurora Pond Retirement Living. After that we will go to the Veteran’s Home. We will be at both of these locations about one hour. After the Veteran’s Home we will go to Robinette’s for lunch and a tour. They do not have a paved lot so if it’s rainy, there might be a little mud on our tires. The rest of the cruise is being determined. We are to end at Berlin Raceway about 2:30 pm. We will have a separate area to park and we will be given tickets to the race that evening. PLEASE RSVP to Jeremy at 616.350.4801 by May 2. We need a number to tell Robinette’s.
Our summer picnic will be June 25 at Ronda and Bryan Houseman’s house. We will take sides, desserts and our chairs. The Club will provide the meat and the drinks. Please RSVP to Lori Stolte at 517-930.0561 by June 11, 2022. Ronda would like to use the Club tables for the picnic. Rick May will talk to Houseman’s to determine a plan.
We need to find out if we will be able to relocate back to Frontline Church for our fall meetings and dinners. Mark your calendars. We are looking at October 15 for Taco night. We are looking at either Nov. 12 or 19. Lori will check with Adeline Leigh to see if they will be available for a Christmas dinner or if they will be retired by then. If we have a location but no caterer, we may want to consider a potluck if no other caterer is available.
We will be having 3 Show and Shine’s at Berlin Raceway. The days are all Wednesdays June 15, July 20 and August 17. Please save the dates!!
MCA report: Tom and Julie Miller were not at the meeting, but Tom sent the following MCA report.

Mustang Club of America Report
For the
West Michigan Mustang Club
Greetings!
The first MCA show, Pee Dee Roundup in Florence, SC is just a few weeks away. This show is in
memory of Sam Levy & Mutt Bozard, two instrumental members of the Eastern SC Mustang
Club. Saturday night dinner reception is with featured speaker Jack Rousch Jr. This show sounds
like this will be a great one to start off the show season!
So far there has been two shows approved for 2023. They are The Mustang Club of
Indianapolis on July 28-30 & Space Coast Mustang Club in Melbourne, Florida. Savannah,
Georgia has been approved for 2024.
Effective February 25, Hagerty Insurance became the official carrier for the MCA, providing
liability insurance for regional shows, like ours.
Every year we have to submit to MCA a regional club update form by March 1 st to keep our
regional MCA status. This update includes a club officer list (all officers must be MCA members)
and a club membership list with those that are MCA members. This was submitted on February
20 th.

We briefly discussed Mail Chimp and Dave Dunn made a couple suggestions. He also will contact Tom Welsh regarding his club’s mail service. For right now Lynn will try to get better with mail chimp. Dave’s input and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Class sponsors for the show are due by May 11 to get their name on the Board.
Jeremy has started an Instagram account for WMMC. It is used by generally younger people and may help attract younger members. Phil and Jeremy will be the administrators but others can view and post. Many of those at the meeting never use Instagram. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to approve the Instagram Account.
The Camaro Club meet up is July 9. They want to use our local on their internal flyer. That was ok’d. There will be a $12 registration fee if pre-registering and $15 the day of the show. It was noted that WMMC does not want to get stuck with any expenses not covered. We will pay reg fees but not be responsible for any overages.
Gary reported that he checked on 4x6 postcards and can get #250 cards for about $57. Estimates came in from Billy the Printer (whom we have used previously) and also Vista print. A motion was made, 2nd and passed to get the postcards. These will be distributed to members with info about our Club on it and inviting folks to join the Club.
We still need someone to fill the Volunteer Coordinator role for the show. This person would need to take names of volunteers and then be sure all the slots are filled. We know we need help at the Merchandise table and Registration table and also someone to do the 50/50 raffle. Some volunteers have stepped up:
Dave and Cindy Dunn – vote counting
Ginny M and Irene M and Kylee K. – raffle table
Rick M and Gene G – Parking
Darrel M – Classification at the entry
Registration – Lynn and Sue E
Membership – Sue E.
Please please please volunteer and let one of the Board Members know what you will do. THANK YOU!! This will be our first REAL show in 3 years; let’s make it a great one!!
If we get enough donations to have a door prize table, we will need someone to work that table as well. If you have items to donate, please let Gary Marble or Jeremy know and bring it the night of Goodie Bag stuffing or the morning of the show.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 750 pm. The motion was 2nd and passed and the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Lynn Trestrail, Secretary
