The meeting was called to order at 623 pm by VP Jeremy Hoard. President Marty Mieras was absent.
Secretary: The minutes of the last meeting were read. 3 typos were noticed and corrected during the reading of the report. There were no other corrections nor additions. A notion was made, seconded and passed to approve the minutes.
Treasury report: Lori distributed the Treasury report. It was a report from December and then covered 12.31.23 to 1.8.24. The report was reviewed, and all questions were answered. A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the report.
Membership: At the end of the year we had 183 members. So far we have 106 members renewed and 4 new members.
Merchandise: Gary said he has had a few orders and will get the money to the Treasurer. There is nothing else.
Activities: Jan 21 at 130 at Glo Golf and Glo Bowling is our next outing. 3494 Plainfield NE
The cost for golf and arcades is $12.50 per person. The cost for Bowling is $40/lane or $10/person. If we have 5 lanes reserved, they will let us use the 6th. We will likely have the meeting room for snacks and fellowship. RSVP to Jeremy Hoard at jhoard75@gmail.com by January 16. When you RSVP, please note if you want to golf or bowl!
Jeremy said that he was contacted by the man from the Camaro Club in Kalamazoo. They are thinking to move the Camaro/Mustang gathering to September.
Pizza night is coming on February 10 and Chili night is on March 9.
There is some planning for a trip to the Gale Halderman Museum.
We are planning our summer picnic on June 22 at the Howard Dunton Park at 290 Howard Ave, Holland, MI 49424 . This was our picnic location last year and it was quite a nice site.
MCA: The MCA has added two awards. President’s Choice Rental (!) and President’s Choice Youth!
The MCA show schedule can be found on the MCA website. The 60th Anniversary show is sold out but visitors can go.
OLD Business: The trailer cover and the tires are now situated for the WMMC Trailer.

SHOW Business: the vendor letter is being prepped. There will be some changes made in the letter. We may not do Goodie Bags this year and do something else. More discussion next month. The show flyer is also being developed. Gene will be gathering the pre-registration forms as usual. We need to decide and confirm who will get out donated funds. We currently donate to the GR Home for Veterans and Lori’s Voice.
We have some classes that need to be split up per Jeremy and several others. Gene will give a run down of the class numbers at the next meeting.
Parking needs to be reviewed and redone. Gary and or Jeremy will check with Austin to be sure Ford is still planning on the WMMC show on June 8 so we have no surprises. Gary will check with our merchandise vendor to see if he can get a mockup of a medallion for the 60th anniversary instead of dash plaques.
The presence of the Mustang trailer at the show is questionable. The owners were in an accident and the trailer was totaled. It is now known if they plan to get another one.
We will get 2 more tables. They will fit in the trailer.
There was discussion on how we can mark parking spaces on the lot at the show. Dots were discussed as well as paint that washes off. The men will gather information and discuss and decide.
A motion was made, 2nd and passed to adjourn the meeting at 740 pm. The next meeting is Feb 12.
Respectfully submitted,
Lynn Plummer Trestrail
WMMC Secretary
